It has been almost a year since the Miami Heat have won back to back games. The last time being in wins over Washington and Indiana on April 11 and 13 of 2007 respectively. They currently stand at a league worst, 12-60, as of March 30. They seem to be doing one of the most frowned upon things in sports, tanking for a better draft position. Dwyane Wade, Udonis Haslem, and Dorrell Wright have all ended their seasons early, with Heat newbie, Shawn Marion, most likely joining that list in the upcoming days. Well Karma will find the Heat, and Pat Riley will be sorry for leading the Heat into that. Just last season, Boston and Memphis seemed to lose more than they should have, and have now been rightfully accused of tanking. Well, Karma found its way into the streets of Memphis and Boston, and showed everyone that if you tank you will get punished. So, if you disagree with me, here are the numbers: Memphis had a 25% chance of winning the lottery, and Boston had a 19.8% chance of winning the lottery. So if percentages played out correctly, Memphis would be picking 1 and Boston picking next a 2. Instead, both teams ended up with the lowest picks they could get. Memphis got the 4th pick and Boston fell to the 5th spot. Now do you really believe that BOTH Memphis and Boston would drop as far as they could drop on coincidence? I certainly don't. Hopefully Pat Riley and the Heat organization learn their lesson by missing out on choosing the NCAA standout of their choice. Whether it be , Michael Beasley, Derrick Rose, or Brook Lopez, the Heat should not get that privilege. A team like Minnesota or the Clippers really deserve that #1 pick. Both teams have battled through either season effecting injuries or just the fact that their team sucks. Minnesota has played hard, despite their first season without KG since the 1994-1995 season. The Clippers have played without Elton Brand and Shaun Livingston all year, due to injuries, and they still have been playing hard. If Draft Lottery Karma gets Miami like it has gotten other teams in the past, I, and many others, will be very happy.
Oh, and by the way, the fact that I despise the Miami Heat and their organization, only makes this sweeter for me.

-Karma will find you soon Riley! In this photo, it looks like Coach Pat is signaling one of Miami's many tanking plays. Hah, I no that's is probably not true, but with how bad Miami is this year, I wouldn't put it past Pat Riley to have those plays.
